Our timeline

2017 – An idea is born

It all started with a thought: What if we could create our very own product – something we could truly stand behind 100%. We had previously run a webshop selling catalogue clothing and started to notice a clear pattern. One thing kept repeating itself: jeans were often returned. Either the fit was wrong, the material too restrictive, or the standard sizes simply weren’t made for ‘real people’.

Surely, we could find a solution! And that became the beginning of Perfect Jeans. Our dream was to create a pair of jeans that embraced diversity, were comfortable, durable, and pleasant to wear all day long. And most importantly – jeans with a size and length for everyone. We wanted to create something that felt perfect for each individual.

2018 – We start from scratch

It sounded simple, but it wasn’t. We quickly discovered that we couldn’t just use standardised fabrics, as they didn’t meet our requirements. The next problem arose when we tested fits based on traditional standards, which also didn’t deliver the results we wanted. We had to create something new – entirely from scratch.

We began developing our own fabrics, where we could adjust the stretch, durability, and softness. It was also important to find the right type of dyeing so that the black jeans would actually stay black. On top of that, we had to design new fits – based on real bodies, not statistics.

It turned into a year of mistakes, frustrations, improvements, and major breakthroughs. But we refused to compromise.

2019 – Launch!

Finally! After a year and a half of hard work, we had a pair of jeans we were truly proud of: our Skinny Ravens. They kept their black colour, were stretchy, soft, and had a fit that worked for all body shapes.

We pressed the button and on 12 June 2019, we officially launched Perfect Jeans. The response exceeded all expectations, and the first batch sold out immediately. We reinvested every single penny and built the company without any investors.

That was the beginning of our journey.

2020 – A new classic!

Our black skinny jeans had gained a strong foothold in the market, but we dreamed of expanding our range. We began working on our three blue shades: Skies, Geraniums, and Royals.

Even though we had now found the formula for Perfect Jeans, the blue colour was difficult to get just right. But after many tests and adjustments, we finally nailed the look we were aiming for.

2021 – Too warm for jeans

In the summer of 2021, it got a little too warm to wear jeans. But it was also the perfect opportunity to introduce our new Perfect Shorts and Perfect Capris – with the same fit, materials, and comfort. The collection grew, and we could truly feel that we were heading in the right direction.

2022 – What about the men?

With our vision of creating jeans for different people, we didn’t just mean different women – but also different men. That’s why we were especially pleased when we could finally introduce our Perfect Jeans for men in both Slim and Regular fits. The same comfort, quality, and colours as for women – everyone should have the same opportunity to find the perfect jeans for them.

2023 – New fits and colours!

We expanded our shorts and capris range with our Regular fit, and at the same time introduced them in new colours. And colours – yes, there were plenty of them in 2023. Fresh and summery shades for the warm days, and new deep tones for autumn. The white colour in particular required a lot of development, but the result was light and summery jeans that weren’t see-through.

2024 – Denim in a new way!

For a long time, we had dreamed of creating a pair of Perfect Jeans in denim. Not just any denim, but a pair of denim jeans that were just as comfortable and stretchy as our original jeans. After countless fabric samples, we were able to launch our reimagined version of the classic denim jeans on 12 May 2024. The response was overwhelming, and today our blue denim jeans are among our best-selling products.

2025 – More colours and new possibilities

We’re always working on new products, and in 2025 we’ve introduced even more items, colours, and styles. You can now discover two grey denim shades or brighten your day with our four pastel colours, which are now a permanent part of the collection. Maybe a pair of capris in a new fit is more your thing – or even a pair of light jeans for men. We’re proud of all the products we’ve launched and incredibly grateful for your positive response.
