Our dream with Perfect Jeans was never to create ‘the perfect pair of jeans’. We wanted to make jeans for real people. Bodies don’t come in five fixed sizes, so jeans shouldn’t either. Our goal was to create jeans that are comfortable to wear all day – and that actually fit.
The name Perfect Jeans isn’t about claiming we’ve found the perfect solution. Because perfection doesn’t exist. It’s about the feeling you get when the jeans finally fit just right – when you don’t have to pull them up, when they don’t pinch, rub, or fade. It’s about when it just works. That’s why we’re called Perfect Jeans.

The whole journey began back in 2014 when we were running another business, selling catalogue clothing and a few products we had designed ourselves. It quickly became clear that we weren’t alone – the same products could be found in many places, and everything revolved around price. It didn’t feel meaningful. We missed creating something that actually made a difference. That inspired us to develop a product where quality and design were the focus.
We noticed that the products most often returned were jeans. It was clear that customers struggled to find jeans that fit well. So, we decided to take on the challenge. What if we could create jeans that actually fit? We used the experience we had gained and set out on the project.
In 2017, the development and full design process began. Our goal was to create a pair of jeans with high comfort – jeans that would hold their colour, be soft, stretchy, and fit every body type. We had to start completely from scratch, but after a year and a half of intense work, we finally had a result we were proud of: a pair of black skinny jeans for women. Today, our Skinny Ravens are still among our bestsellers.
Couldn’t we use our many years of experience in the clothing and textile industry to develop the perfect jeans? Our mission and vision were crystal clear: we wanted to create the perfect pair of jeans for all women, regardless of body type.

On 12 June 2019, we were finally able to launch Perfect Jeans. Honestly, we never dared hope for the reception we received, and the first batch sold out instantly. We chose to reinvest every single penny into the company so we could order even more jeans. In doing so, we built the business without a single external investor. And we’re extremely proud that we still run the company ourselves to this day.
Over time, the number of tasks became too much for us to handle alone, so we now have a team of skilled employees who help move the company forward every day. We moved from our home office into a 300 m² space in our hometown of Svendborg. In 2022, we had to expand by 1,000 m², and by 2024 we ran out of warehouse space again. That’s when we entered into a partnership with Mærsk to move our warehouse to Taulov. Now we have 40,000 square metres to work with, which has made it possible to grow and think even bigger. It also means we now have all 1,300 m² dedicated to office space – and that we still have our base in Svendborg.
Since launching in 2019, we’ve expanded our range with more fits, colours, product types – and even products for men. Today, we offer more than 200 different products across both genders. We now ship to 48 countries around the world.
It’s amazing how far our little business has come. For us, Perfect Jeans is about more than just jeans. There’s nothing more meaningful to us than being able to solve real problems for real people. That’s why we’re deeply moved when customers write to tell us they’ve found a pair of jeans they finally feel comfortable in. We’ve helped people with stoma bags, with Down syndrome, those who are 150 cm tall and others over 2 metres, find the perfect jeans. Many of them had been searching for good jeans for years without success – but finally succeeded. That’s what makes it all worthwhile.
We truly believe that it’s the jeans that should fit the person – not the other way around.
